In 2015, The 46ers Film premiered to sold-out theaters across New York state, capturing the spirit, grit, and wonder of those who set out to climb the 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks. Now, ten years later—and exactly 100 years after the first 46ers completed their journey—the film returns to the big screen for a limited-time theatrical tour.
"This story still resonates—maybe more than ever. We’re not just looking back at a decade of impact. We’re honoring a century of Adirondack hiking culture and inviting people into something bigger than themselves," says director Blake Cortright. In addition to celebrating the legacy of the original film, the 10th anniversary tour will premiere a teaser for Cortright’s upcoming short documentary series about Adirondack life, supported through a new Patreon community. Select live screenings will include filmmaker Q&As, giveaways, exclusive merchandise, and community celebrations—while all screenings will give audiences a rare chance to experience the film the way it was meant to be seen: together, on the big screen.
Doors open at 6:45pm. We serve wine, beer, hard seltzers and ciders, as well as soft drinks, and of course POPCORN! Sorry, no outside food or drinks allowed.
