In the late 1950s and early 1960s, a revival of folk music began, leading to the rediscovery of songs long forgotten and the writing of songs we're still singing today.  Tow of the greater Rochester area's premier folk music groups, The Old World Warblers and Fables & Fools, come together to celebrate this legacy of music.  Reaching back as far as the 1800's up into the 1960s, these two bands will reach back to songs whose authors are unknown, songs from the early 20th century sung by the likes of Lead Belly, Woody Guthrie, Elizabeth Cotton, and Pete Seeger, and up into the folk revival with Boby Dylan, Dave Von Ronk, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, and many, many others.
